Yes, payment of taxes may be made by mail. Please show your billing receipt number on your check. Postmark date determines payment

No, delinquent taxes must be paid before current taxes can be paid.

Yes, delinquent taxes are a lien on the property regardless of
ownership. |

What if I didn't receive a tax notice? |

Tax notices are sent out each year as a public service to taxpayers. The
failure to receive a notice does not excuse late or non-payment. |

What if my mailing address changes? |

Current mailing address is the responsibility of the property owner who
must notify the Assessor of Property. |

Yes, the State of Tennessee has a tax relief program. Information is
available from both the Trustee's Office and any city tax collection
office during the time period of October through February. |
